I'm visiting as:

For occupational therapists

Your recommendation, built the way you specified it.

We have turned OT recommendations into working homes across Norfolk and Suffolk since 1996. You get a named contact, a site visit within days, and drawings you can check against your assessment before anyone lifts a tool.

  • Joint site visit offered on every referral
  • We query a spec before we change it, never after
  • Handover photos and measurements sent to you

Referral pathway

From your assessment to a finished adaptation

Five stages, one named contact. At each stage you know what happens next and when.

  1. Referral received

We acknowledge it the same working day and give you the name of your contact.

    Day 0–1
  2. Survey visit

We phone the client first, then measure and photograph. You're welcome to join.

    Within 5 working days
  3. Drawings and schedule

A marked-up plan and priced schedule for you to check against your recommendation.

    Within 10 working days
  4. Grant approval and start date

Once the grant is approved we agree a start date with the client, never imposed.

    Set by the grant timeline
  5. Build, handover, sign-off

Photos, final measurements and certificates sent to you and the grants team.

Spec and standards

Built to the guidance you work from

We're builders, not therapists, so your recommendation leads. These are the standards we check it against, and where we'll ring you if something on site doesn't fit.

Approved Document M awareness

Door widths, threshold heights, turning space and WC layouts checked against current access guidance before we price.

Building Regulations, Part M

Turning circles and clear space

1500mm turning space marked on every wet-room and bedroom drawing where the room allows it, and flagged where it doesn't.

Shown on survey drawings

Level thresholds and falls

Shower floor gradients set so water drains without creating a slope that's hard to manoeuvre on.

Wet-room floor build-up notes

Rails into solid backing

Every grab rail fixed into timber noggins or masonry, heights confirmed with you or marked on site with the client.

Fixing schedule in handover pack

Hoist-ready structure

Ceiling strengthening for track hoists with a load note from the structural engineer, so the hoist supplier can fit with confidence.

Engineer's note supplied

Colour contrast and lighting

Contrasting rails, sanitaryware and floor edges for people with low vision, where your assessment asks for it.

Finish schedule

Guidance references are indicative; the firm's own compliance wording is to be supplied.

In their words

What referrers and families say

Sample testimonials, to be replaced with real ones

OT

"They ring me before they change anything, not after. When a room can't take the full turning circle, I hear about it at survey stage with options, not on handover day."

Occupational TherapistCounty council adult social care
Grants officer

"Their schedules of work are clear enough to approve without a round of queries, and the documents are always in date. That saves weeks on a grant."

Grants OfficerDistrict council home improvement team
Family

"Mum was worried about builders in the house. They explained each day what was happening, kept the hall clear for her frame, and she could shower on her own again by the second week."

When we're in your home

Calm, tidy and on your terms

  • We phone before the first visit and agree times that suit you.
  • The same small team each day, with photo ID and DBS checks.
  • Dust sheets down, a clear route kept for walking aids and wheelchairs.
  • If you lose your bath or toilet for a day, we tell you in advance and plan around it.
  • A family member can be your main contact if you'd prefer.
