Sheet 01Norfolk & Suffolk1996–2026

Thirty years of adapted homes, on one map.

Every dot is roughly five homes where our family firm has fitted a wet room, a ramp, a wider door or a ground-floor extension, so that someone could keep living independently at home. Move through the years to see the work spread.

Completed adaptations · sample 1 dot ≈ 5 homes
Map of adaptations completed across Norfolk and Suffolk A stylised map of Norfolk and Suffolk with the North Sea to the east. Coloured dots mark homes we have adapted, about five homes per dot, using sample data. The densest cluster is around our yard in Norwich, with work spreading across both counties over thirty years. Rings show 25 and 50 miles from the yard. The same figures are listed by district in the coverage table below.

Key: show or hide work types

Black square: our yard in Norwich. Small square: our Suffolk base near Stowmarket (from 2008). Pins A–D: case studies below. Outlined dots: work completed in the year shown.

Coverage and response times

Where we work, and how quickly we get there

We cover every district in Norfolk and Suffolk from two bases. These are our typical times from a referral landing with us. If a client's situation is urgent, tell us and we will say honestly what we can do.

Two bases, one team

The main yard is in Norwich. A second crew has worked from near Stowmarket since 2008, so mid and west Suffolk are not an afterthought.

How referral works

The route from referral to handover

Six stops. At every one, the OT, the grants team and the household know who to call and what happens next.

  1. Referral

The OT, grants officer or agency sends the specification or schedule of works.

    Acknowledged in 1 working day
  2. Survey visit

We measure up and talk the work through with the household, in plain English.

    3–9 working days
  3. Quote

An itemised quote that follows the schedule line by line, ready for approval.

    Within 5 working days
  4. Approval

The council or provider approves the grant. We hold a start date and confirm it in writing.

    Set by the funder
  5. The build

A named site lead, dust sheets down, a working toilet every night, and a tidy site each evening.

    Wet room: 1–2 weeks
  6. Handover

We show the client how everything works, leave warranties, and invite the OT to check the finished work.

"I refer across a big rural patch. Reeve & Son turn up in the far corners as reliably as they do in town, and they ring me before they change anything."
